By repeating the same melody again and again, and matching it with an ever-shifting brass band part, listeners are suspended in an endless loop that gives a sense of eternity, never knowing at which moment the true end will come.

Virgin Vacation are joined by an ad-hoc brass band composed of Tomii Chan, Ming Nichols and Oscar Lam, who add three-dimensional layers and cinematic drama to the music, following lulls and peaks and expanding in different directions.

For the music video, Virgin Vacation asked Hong Kong comics and illustration masters Lai Tat Tat Wing, Lee Chi Tat and Overloaddance to create animations, which are stitched together in the manner of the surrealist ‘Exquisite Corpse’ game.

The video also includes a large number of title and ending cards from different film companies from all over the world, as well as local films. It is a response to the sense of permanence in the music as well as a tribute to the film industry. The end of a series, the end of a wave, the end of an era - all signify the beginning of another end.
